Life is so busy anymore and Christmas season is a great time to slow down a little bit and enjoy the season, the family and friends. We’re not just talking Christmas morning when everyone is off work and you have to get up early because kids want to open presents then everyone watches a lot of TV, eats a big Christmas lunch and then every takes a nap because the kids got up early. Christmas should be a time of caring, sharing and enjoying one another’s company.
When we were little our parents use to load us up in the car, go pick up our Grandparents (who didn’t like to drive) and all go out for a couple of hours to look at lights then get hot chocolate or hot apple cider on the way home. This was very inexpensive but yet it created wonderful memories and could start a tradition. Life is to short not to stop and enjoy.
